Spiritual Warfare Answers Book | Book Review
I really enjoyed reading this Spiritual Warfare Answers book from Dr. David Jeremiah. It's a compact book with short, easy to read question/answer sections specific to spiritual warfare. I think it's a great book for any Christian to read...we are in a spiritual war right now, for sure! Even my near 10 year old picked it up one day, and explained how much she enjoyed having a "question" and then being able to read a Bible based answer with verses to look up for the question.
The Spiritual Warfare Answer Book is divided nicely in to four main sections: Terms of Engagement, Behind Enemy Lines, God's Armory, and The Warfare of Prayer.
A few "questions" within the book that caught my eye to read first were questions like:
"How can I be a courageous warrior for God when I feel powerless?"
"How could a perfect, holy being fall?" (speaking of Satan)
"How can I discern Satan's lies from God's truth?"
"What does it mean to be 'watchful' in prayer?"
"How can I persevere in the battle when I'm afraid?"
There are almost 200 pages of beautifully formatted, easy to read challenges for Christians in today's world. These have been quick to read alongside a Bible study, or just for a quick "5 minute" read during a break, but have great words of wisdom straight from God's word that can be applied to all Christians.
I would recommend this book, especially for someone who doesn't know much about spiritual warfare, is a young Christian, or just needs a better "foundation" to be able to move on and study the meatier parts to these topics. It's simple, but challenging/encouraging...deep, but easy enough to read and understand for young adults and older.
