Daily Insights with Zig Ziglar | Devotional Book Review


I love to hear Zig Ziglar, one of today's well-respected motivational speakers, so I was thrilled to see a One Year devotional book with Zig Ziglar!  

At first glance, I wouldn't have immediately picked up this book for its looks. It is a black book with stamped gold writing and decoration. But, that's just not my preference. 

The book is set up as a short daily devotional for both men and women, young and old, mature and growing Christians. Each day is one page, so it is a very short read for those quick, but quiet moments during your day. It starts with a Bible verse/passage, followed by a devotional message to help explain or further challenge you in thinking about the day's verse. To finish the day's devotional, a thought-provoking question is posed to help you to think more deeply about the topic and how to apply it to your life. Each day ends with a quote from many well-known speakers/persons, including Zig Ziglar, Oswald Chambers, Adrain Rogers, and many more!

While this book is not designed to take the place of a daily time in Gods word, it does provide short, daily thoughts to encourage and challenge you in your Christian walk, wherever that may be.
