Understanding World Religions in 15 Minutes a Day {Book Review}
I was recently given the opportunity to review Garry Morgan's Understanding World Religions in 15 Minutes a Day. In today's time, I feel that it is necessary to know about the other prevalent religions of the world, not just Christianity. But, with that said, how much do I really know about Hinduism, Judaism, Mormonism, or even the popular (but lesser known) religions? If I am honest, I'd have to say I know very little.
Morgan's book, written from a Christian perspective, gives great overviews of over 20 different religions, and how they are different from Christianity. For me, this is a great reminder that it is good to be familiar with these other religions that are now so easily found near our everyday lives in America...but even more so, to be even more concrete about my own beliefs as compared to other religions. This book is not an extensive study on each religion, but a great overview of many religions from a Christian perspective. Very easy to read and understand with a little time each day. I would recommend this book to anyone.
