Everything Romance | Book Review

I recently received Everything Romance to review for Blogging for Books (Multnomah Publishing).  Being almost 8 years into my marriage with the love of my life, I couldn't help but get excited with the thought of new and unique ideas to spark more romance.  This book was created to look like a gift book, and definitely looks great on the outside.  It states that it offers stories, date ideas, recipes, conversation starters and more.  This was not a book I just sat down and read all in one sitting, but more to keep by the bedside for a quick poem, story, etc., when you're in the mood for a short thought. 

After reading the book, I wasn't particularly impressed by much of the book. I did enjoy the quotes that were sprinkled throughout the book and the stories. There were some decent date night ideas, but not in abundance.  The recipes to "fan the heart flames"were basically recipes that were given "romantic" names.  I wasn't overly impressed, but I do think that it would be a nice gift for a couple. I received a copy of this book for free in exchange for my review from Blogging for Books.
