Winter Wonderland

The kids WE ALL had a great time with 
our "snow days" the past two days.  
We thought getting 2-3 inches of snow as great at Christmas...
now 8-10 inches...in Alabama?!? 
Needless to say...
we have all loved our Winter Wonderland :-)

Katie ran outside and immediately "fell" into the snow...

Austin decided that since the soft snow didn't want to make a good snowman, 
he'd turn himself into one...

My little snow babies :-)

And, just for future reference...
Our "redneck sled" (AKA laundry basket & ratchet straps) used in THIS snow

really doesn't work so great

in more than 2-3 inches of snow...

and definitely not in 8-10 inches!
Maybe we should look for a real sled for next winter...
ya think?? ;-)
