7. God's Enabling Power
II Corinthians 9:8 I pray that You would make all grace abound toward my husband; that he, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
Colossians 1:11 I pray that he would be strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness
Colossians 1:29 I pray that he would labor, striving according to Your working, which worketh in him mightily.
8. Wisdom in Relationships
I Timothy 5:1-3 I pray that he would not rebuke an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity. I pray that he would honor widows that are widows indeed.
I Timothy 5:21 I pray that my husband would observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.
I Timothy 5:22 I pray that my husband would lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins; that he would keep himself pure.
I Timothy 6:3 & 5 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness...from such may my husband withdraw himself.
9. Personal Growth
II Peter 1:5-7 I pray that he would give all diligence, and add to his faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
II Peter 3:18 I pray that he would grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever. Amen.
