It's that time again...to confess all of those things we did not do this week!
Austin did not start trying to crawl this week at only 6 months old! He's definitely not mobile enough just with his rolling and back scooting. And, I certainly did not get lucky enough to catch his new attempts on camera!! (ENJOY!)
Katie was not "too smart" this week in asking when she could go outside to play. She certainly is not old enough to hold this conversation in front of me without prompting or help of any kind...Katie "Can I go outside now?" Mommy "Not yet, Katie." Katie "Is it raining? NO. Is it cold? NO. Is it warm? YES! NOW can I please go outside?"Now...what could I say to this that she put so much thought into? My excuses were no good this time...she got to play outside in her pj's!
I did not fail miserably in my work-out routine and cleaning routine this week, and I would never blame it mostly on my busyness and tiredness.
I am not really enjoying time with my family here. And I'm definitely not at all sad at the thought of them leaving in another day or so.
I am blessed beyond belief...married for 7 years (and counting) to the love of my life and stay-at-home mom to our two precious gifts from God! I'm the definition of imperfection, and rely on the grace of God to make it step by step, day by day. I love photography, flip-flops, scrapbooking, picnics, laughter, homeschooling, and most importantly, my family, my friends, and my God!
Katie is our sweet & spunky 5 year old little girl (and fantastic big sister). She is a perfect mixture of personality, loving her shoes, clothes, and jewelry, while never missing a moment to run barefoot in order to catch a few bug or lizard friends. She has an imagination and vocabulary that amaze us daily. She loves to laugh and enjoy life. She is our little monkey who loves to use her toes to pick up things and climb on everything taller than herself. She is our beautifully spirited princess!!
Austin is our precious 3 year old boy. He has an easy going attitude that helps him go with the flow happily almost anytime, but don't let it deceive you...he's sneaky! He loves to get into everything that he shouldn't, and he's good at it. He is Katie's little shadow, watching and trying to mimic everything she does. He's our second little monkey, proving that nothing is too hard or too high to climb. He's our sweet dirt and tractor-lovin' little boy!

I can't believe he is already trying to crawl!!! He is going to be walking before you know it!
