Happy 2nd Birthday, Katie!

I cannot believe my baby girl is already 2 years old! We had her Mickey Mouse Clubhouse birthday party on Saturday, and she had a blast! This was my first time to make cupcakes, and I think they went over well. Maybe next year I will brave making a homemade cake! ;) I must say, I can't talk about her party without giving PawPaw Greg a hard time about bringing his TV from home to plug in at the party so they could sit there watching the AL vs LSU game while Katie blew out her candles and opened her gifts. But, as Katie would say, "ROLL TIDE ROLL"!

Katie really enjoyed her time with her family and friends...loved every last bite of her Minnie Surprise Cupcake...and was thrilled to open so many fun things to play with and wear. She wanted me to open everything while we were there...we didn't...but we had lots of fun opening everything when we got home!

She received a variety of gifts...clothes, toys, movies, etc....not too much of any one thing, which is great, especially since Christmas will soon be here. And, though she was a little overwhelmed with what to do first when she got home, she has no favorites...she loves everything and has had a blast playing with all of her new "big girl" things.

Those are great pictures. I'm so glad she had such a great 2nd birthday. The pic of Elizabeth "steeling" a piece of cheese cracks me up. We can't wait to come over to play!!
