Our "Exciting" Friday Experience

I know I just posted earlier this week...but I had to share the "experience" I shared with Katie today. Today, Katie locked me out of the house for the first (and hopefully last) time! I was taking the mail to the mailbox, and when I returned, the door was LOCKED! All I could think was that I have a 19 mo old and a dog loose in my house without supervision. She was already climbing onto the kitchen chairs when I got to the door. Luckily, after talking to Katie for what seemed like hours (really only about 5 minutes), she figured out how to unlock the door. THANK THE LORD! I knew it would not be long before she would be very upset that I was not inside, especially since she couldn't understand why I couldn't come in. Needless to say, it was a learning experience that hopefully will not be repeated ever again! But I figured you all would get a nice laugh out of it, as am I (but only now that I am back inside with my child)!
