Easter FUN!

Mom had all of the kids (and grandkids) over for a nice Easter cook-out and egg hunt.  We adults loved the cook-out, and the kids had a blast hunting eggs!

Wordless Wednesday

Regardless of what you may think, I did not encourage my sometimes wildly loud child to tape his mouth shut.  That was his own idea...but I may have enjoyed the temporary quiet.  :-)

Bedtime??

Just when you think it's time to settle down for the night and play a quick game on the wii to pass the time before bed...

HOOK!!!

Lately, our little man has become almost obsessive about Captain Hook & Pirates, to the point that he goes around the house holding a clothes hanger and saying "I'm gonna get you with meee hook!"  It's quite hilarious...until he aggravates his sister a little too much.  ;-)

So, while we were at the beach, we ran across this photo opportunity, and absolutely could not pass it up!

Beach Bums

Though early April sounds a little too early for "Beach Bums"...we had a great time at the beach this past weekend with Nana, Pawpaw, Uncle Myles, and Aunt Angela!  Austin, especially, has made HUGE progress with his love of the beach...instead of crying when he touched the sand, he cried because he had to leave the sand!

I am afraid our next several Mobile visits are going to require a day to once again become a "Beach Bum"...at least, if our kids have any say in the matter!

"Mini-Me" in the making...

On our recent visit to Mobile, Katie found a new hobby...and, considering it was her first time to even touch a camera, I think she did amazing! 

 She loved taking pictures of Aunt Ruth & Uncle Frankie's beautiful flowers!

 And, unlike me at her age, she didn't even cut off heads!

She even used her creativity to get herself in the pictures.

After seeing her love for the camera, we had to let her "document" our trip to Godfather's Pizza.

Looks like I may have a "Mini-Me" photographer in the making...and you know that makes my heart soar ;-)

Early Morning Flights

I've never been a fan of early morning flights, but somehow, I always seemed to get them in the past.  Now, I get to see early morning flights often!  Austin loves his early morning jet flights...that's usually one of the first things he does when he crawls out of bed and makes his way to our room.  See??  ;-)

His eyes may not be fully functioning yet...

...but his jet sounds sure are! 

He's all boy in the sound-making department...

and it makes me laugh...

even during those early morning flights!
